The band is the result of far-too-long-lasting friendships, and their top priority is to just, like, make sure everyone is having a nice/safe/affirming/fun time, you know?

Ultra Deluxe

Part screamo, part chiptune, overtly 8-bit, and always aggressive, Ultra Deluxe displays a wide variety of instrumentation. The anticipated synthesizers give way to harmonica, distortion and orchestra strings dance in a noise punk ode to Nintendo. A dark yet uplifting tone defined by driving bass lines and screams that echo the struggles of the proletariat.

The product of one woman's passion for DIY emo, exciting!!excellent!! is a band full of surprises. Though technically a solo project, Jasmine's catchy, dynamic compositions paired with unforgettable riffs feel like a full band. Playing with equal parts nostalgia and genre-bending choices, exciting!!excellent!! showcases the brilliance of this girl and her gameboy.
