My Son The Doctor began prescribing their swaggering punk sound to the Brooklyn scene in 2019, playing almost exclusively to the irony-poisoned crowd that dominates Brooklyn and Bushwick DIY spaces. 

Finding their stride through off-kilter and playfully destructive live shows, the four-piece is noted for packing “two pounds of kickass into a four pound bag” by The Deli Magazine and recognized for their “infectious energy” by the Wild Honey Pie..
Self-described as ‘like Spoon, but younger and hotter,’ the pent up Bushwick band expanded upon their irreverent stream-of-conscious lyricism and tightly wound guitar performance on their sophomore extended play Taste Those Dreams. - Connor Beckett

Sunny Delight

Sunny Delight poured into the Brooklyn music scene in 2021. Though still in a relatively newborn state, members Chappie, Seano, and Row are veterans of the tri-state area from playing in other projects such as Steady Sun and Wooter.

Boiling things down to the basics with a power-trio lineup, tongue-in-cheek lyrics, and a penchant for playing loud and fast, they’ll leave you sweating from corners you didn’t know we’re there. With their debut album coming out in July 2022, be sure to catch these guys in Brooklyn until then.
