Long
Long formed in Brooklyn in early 2022 after founder and frontman Kyle Cramer scouted lead guitarist Blake Maxwell and bassist Seth Queeney, from an Instagram ad and a now defunct Tinder profile. The music and Cramer’s lyrics bear noisy, exorcizing temper tantrums and poignant spillage through a once careful puncture now too wide to close. On being a gay frontman in the scene, Cramer says “I’ve always felt severely disinterested in stereotypical queer culture. I feel othered by that and I always noticed a lack of queer point of view in the current musical landscape in New York, or at least one that I didn’t feel overly critical of or contrarian to so I figured it was time to be a little mouthy and fill in that gap as I saw fit.”
Fish House
Fish House is an ever-expanding group with a debut LP just around the bend.
