Moon Sand Land

Self-described as "future classic rock," Moon Sand Land's idiosyncratic approach to indie has carved out a space of its own since bandleader Jason Ross relocated to Brooklyn and joined forces with Daniel Lerner, Alex Scheitinger, Taylor Hurt & Maggie Bishop. Recommended for fans of King Krule, Pavement, and Steve Lacey, the project's forthcoming EP Table Tennis hones the outfit's particular brand of slacker/post-punk stylings to a fine point, introducing raucous noise and shuffling rhythms in equal measure.

Endearments

Kevin Marksson wears his heart on his sleeve. Never one to shy away from big emotions, the Brooklyn songwriter has poured three years of diaries into the music of Endearments. The trio’s latest EP, It Can Be Like This, is no exception; Marksson and his bandmates—guitarist Anjali Nair and drummer Will Haywood Smith—channel these introspections into lush, reverb-washed pop songs that evoke early 4AD dream pop and the romanticism of Roxy Music.

Wetsuit

“Oh one day I’ll live in a city, and I’ll be whoever I like” howls Wetsuit’s Allison Becker, pouting on stage as she channels her inner midwest princess turned powerhouse Brooklyn band frontwoman. Accompanied by Anders Nils (guitar), Paul DeSilva (bass), and Tess Kramer (drums), Wetsuit makes "delightfully wonky indie rock" (Post Trash) that sounds like The Cranberries meets Waxahatchee. They released their debut album Sugar, I’m Tired in August 2023 with NYC indie label Substitute Scene Records and are currently working on a full length with producer Alex Farrar (Wednesday, Indigo de Souza).
