Rat Motel
The Rat Motel first appeared in 2016 as a collective dream sustained by brothers Seth and Clayton Peacock. After a speedy and unanimous decision to drop the undeniably pretentious article “The,” Rat Motel quickly became a staple of the Columbus, Ohio DIY scene with their massive dual-cylinder live sets and infectious buzz rock recordings. They have since half-relocated to Brooklyn but still host RATFEST annually in Columbus. Fan favorite “Dog” is featured in the film “Poser” (released last summer out of Oscilloscope Labs) and their debut studio album “The Rat Motel” (the “The” had to come back somehow) was released in summer 2023. It’s a dizzying peek into a tangled underworld of stories and dreams, using the blunt force of their live show to graft intricately satisfying songwriting onto carefully orchestrated darkness that would make Nick Cave proud.
Partygirl
partygirl is an imaginative, maximalist, feminist rock band based in Brooklyn. The band is formed by Pagona Kytzidis (songwriting/lead vocals/rhythm guitar/keyboards), Francesca Pastore (production/lead guitar), Claire Lin Jenkins (orchestral arrangements/violin/backing vocals), Jonathan Ashley (drums/percussion), Andrew Jordan (bass), and Jenna Love (alto saxophone).
Through creating unique and forward-looking music, partygirl centers intentional and creative storytelling through progressive, genre-bending song composition and lyrics that combine feminist praxis, emotional rawness, and dark comedy. Since early 2023, the band’s energetic and emotional shows have stormed the stages of venues across in New York City and the Northeast, including Baby’s All Right, the Sultan Room, Brooklyn Made, Union Pool, and Mercury Lounge, to name a few. Their highly-anticipated debut full-length project, I’m So Charming, I Forgot Who I Was, is set to release in Fall 2024.

this HOLY rodeo! is a well-funded corporate endeavor to maximally synthesize global market research in order to produce the most well-rounded and widely appealing music possible. Its shareholders include Chris Harth (Vocals, Keys, Guiar), Sami Habib (Guitar), Gaetano Lardieri (Drums), and Mario Marques (Bass). They will one day rule the earth and control most major waterways and the distribution of ethanol. Their efforts exist online and they have managed to enrich themselves off of unsuspecting fans across the country.
Uncle Skunk
Uncle Skunk is a homegrown NYC rock band that excels in spinning songs that draw from musical traditions ranging from folk to metal. They are gearing up for the release of their third EP “II”, set to drop June 2024.
