Lahnah
Lahnah is a self-proclaimed "experimental butt rock" band from Philadelphia. Embracing musical bombast and absurdity, they are on a mission to destroy Indie music. Lahnah is a true industry plant, spawned from capitalist motives and cultivated by the members' grammy winning parents. Songs about living with psychosis delivered in a frantic and angular fury.
Chemareéa
chemareéa (+) is the solo project of Chemareéa Biggs, an audio shape-shifter from Dallas, Texas.
Being an artistic omnivore in practice requires not only an exceptional breadth of aesthetic and auditory awareness, but also a well honed eye and ear capable of assessing the most niche of depths.
Chemareéa’s varied explorations as a musician and visual artist show a through line to the subversive, where the experimental playground of ideas and creations questions the passiveness of ease.
Their incessant pursuit of such echoed distortions lead them to Austin and eventually to New York City. Purposeful enmeshment with the artistic enclaves with rich legacies and consistent talent provided Chemareéa with the ideal primordial soup for the production and dissemination of musical projects and collaborations.
As a result, their work is a kaleidoscopic collection of emergent phrases coaxed from discordant tonal projections of the hidden kind. Eclectically deliberate vocal summonings crawl underneath, throughout, within these ambient deconstructions. Ultimately, the ears are a tunneled vessel for the sweetest post-rock vinaigrette.
The real time calibrators of these sonic escapades also include Ned (of Pidge), Ian (of Death 13), Jude and Cody (of Moxie Pocket), and Max (of the Reluctants).
Contract
CONTRACT is an industrial punk and metal band from Brooklyn NY. The band's performances can be described as visceral and chaotic, while also being structured and methodical. Their contract is an internal agreement to continually meet and overcome the challenges that come with pursuing artistic expression & mental health in a brutally superficial and competitive New York landscape.
