Taxi Vision headline The Broadway with support from Beeef + Bard's Flying Vessel!
Taxi Vision
Taxi Vision is a Queens-based musical project with branches extending to Quito, São Paulo, and Umbria, purveying reckless arrangements of highlife guitars, doo wop harmonies, chopped up samples, samba and psychedelia.
Beeef
Brought together in 2015 in a basement not unlike most others in the student neighborhood of Allston, MA, Beeef channels the college rock traditions of the ‘80s and ‘90s while balancing infectious hooks, anthemic energy, and pensive meditations on twenty-something existential snags. Following the success of their 2017 debut, A Beeef CD, the band released its second full-length in July 2019 titled Bull in the Shade and aim to release their third record into the world in the fall of 2023. Beeef has collaborated with the likes of Sidney Gish, shared bills with bands like Alvvays, Sheer Mag, and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, and has been highlighted by such publications as NPR Music, ALT Citizen, and Post Trash.
Bard’s Flying Vessel
Out of the forest and onto the dusty plains, "Nightfall Generator", the newest release from the lads of Bard’s Flying Vessel, has a vast, natural sound – like a tequila sunset dipping behind a big ass mesa. Inspired by trips to the Moab Desert and Sergio Leone Westerns, the Brooklyn-based quintet mix twangy guitar riffs with driving percussion, blending the whole trip together with their always dreamlike harmonies. If the first BFV album called to mind images of wood elves and sorcery, then "Nightfall Generator" is a wind chime twinkling behind a Conestoga wagon. Throw another log on the fire, my friends, the night is not over yet…
