Ringing
Ringing is a Brooklyn 4-piece wielding influences from the likes of Hum, Nothing, and Title Fight. After playing Julia's War Fest in 2023, the label co-released their debut studio EP "Is It Light Out Where You Are” on 8/11 alongside Candlepin Records. Recorded & mixed by Dan Angel, who helmed the now legendary Return by Blue Smiley, and mastered by Corey Coffman of Gleemer, the album presents a combustible & emotive take on shoegaze.
Slughead
Slughead, whose compound is based somewhere near the PA state capital, is an animal with the ability to shapeshift, by bending the circuitry of its own brain. And from this science fiction brain ebbs & flows a tide that splashes with Brian Jonestown jangle & sploshes with JMC reverb. This beast could quite possibly be a love-child of "Evol"/"Sister" era Sonic Youth & "Psychic Powerless"/"Rembrandt" era Butthole Surfers. - Kevin Bohannon
Plastic
Plastic began as the bedroom project of George Schatzlein. The debut EP Hereditary combined swirling textures with unexpected melodies into a unique brand of shoegaze. Schatzlein has since recruited Wiley De Groff on bass, Sam Kurzydlo on drums, and Nigel Meyer on guitar. The new additions pushed Plastic into heavier territories with complex rhythms, intricate guitar interplay, and wider dynamics between stillness and explosive climaxes. The band is based in Queens, NY and is currently recording their first full-length record.
Crate
Crate is a newly formed shoegaze/slowcore outfit out of Brooklyn who believes the 90’s are the greatest musical decade.
